Welcome to Moving Mountains!

Hey there! I’m your host Morgan Brown. I look forward to sharing my travel journey with you through my new blog Moving Mountains. When I decided to visit all 63 National Parks (NP) with my parents - Lee & Denise - my dad suggested I start a blog. He & I LOVE taking pictures of everything on our adventures. While we are no pro photographers, we have managed to capture some pretty darn good images along the way, and I look forward to sharing those with you soon.

A quick tidbit about me. I am originally from the beautiful Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee in the alluring Unicoi County. I grew up in a small town and was adventurous and enjoyed sports. Ironically enough, I HATED hiking. My parents would drag me through the woods, and I would whine the entire time. I even dubbed one hike, “The Death Hike” because dad almost got us killed hiking up in Virginia - but that’s a story for another day. I think my VERY outgoing parents are now happy that I drag them on hikes where they are the ones asking if we’re almost there yet.

I originally started sharing my NP trips on Facebook, and people loved seeing what we were up to. I have also found people love seeing the adventurous - sometimes scary - things I do and always want to see more. Positive feedback along with my dad’s encouragement to start this blog morphed into my dream of sharing beautiful pictures and hopefully expanding to something even bigger one day. I’ve got some really cool things coming down the pipe, and I hope you’re along for the ride with me.

Sign up for updates on my blog as well as cool new things coming & pass along to a friend if you’re feeling so inclined ;). Enter your email address below to stay up-to-date. I PROMISE Moving Mountains will NEVER sell your information - trust me I hate those annoying spam emails too. I can’t WAIT to share these adventures with you, and hopefully get to know you along the way. See ya on the trail!
